We are looking for someone to own and develop a content marketing strategy that increases our brand awareness, elevates our positioning, and improves sales effectiveness. If you are a person that believes that phenomenal content has the power to transform a business from the top of the funnel down, this is the role for you! You’ll be a part of everything from brainstorming with industry specialists to working with our executive team to build top-quality thought leadership.
This will be an exciting opportunity to help shape and bolster SalesScreen’s position in the industry. This role has wide-reaching goals that will benefit several cross-functional groups. To that end, success will be visible both internally and externally. You will report directly to the CRO and collaborate with the friendly, encouraging, and whip-smart team at SalesScreen.


At SalesScreen you will:

  • Create and maintain content marketing calendar based on both external market and internal partner input. Facilitate partner consensus on a regular basis.
  • Conceive, research and write high-quality engaging content across multiple formats: webinars, guides, blog posts, long-form thought leadership, case studies, email and web copy, whitepapers, eBooks, quick guides, infographics, newsletters, video scripts, eBooks, blogs, social media posts, product brochures, sales decks, tutorials, how-to guides and messaging frameworks.
  • Manage content production relationships where applicable (e.g. freelance writers, team contributors)
  • Monitor the blogs, social content, web content, and e-mail campaigns of competitors for industry trends and new content ideas.
  • Regularly report on content performance so we know exactly what’s working, what’s not, and how we can best hit our goal
  • Own and manage the B2B blog and develop an internal and external blog contribution program to grow our content base. 
  • Oversee social media implementations 
  • Creative support - Work in support of sales to create snackable content to help open conversations with prospects and engage conversation with in pipeline customers - Create short animated videos, gifs, one sheets, customized decks and collateral to help drive sales. 


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of content marketing and general marketing experience in B2B, preferably for a SaaS company 
  • Collaborative style when working across functions, partners, and vendor relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive top of funnel with content
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use engagement and performance analytics to adapt strategy and focus
  • Ability to join and thrive in dynamic conversations with diverse audiences: executives, client-facing conversations, etc.
  • Should have sound knowledge of SEO, and can be able to do keyword research and implement best practices of SEO in our content to drive organic growth.
  • Capacity to build high-quality content across multiple formats: webinars, guides, blog posts, long-form thought leadership, etc.
  • Ability to use engagement and performance analytics to adapt content strategy, identify new story angles and optimize content performance. 
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and a get it done attitude; flexible, adaptive, collaborative personality with a positive attitude and sense of humor. 
  • Experience managing complex projects, meeting deadlines and handling several projects at a time with a high attention to detail. 
  • Ability to join and thrive in dynamic conversations with diverse audiences: executives, client-facing conversations, etc.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing and sales to develop content for product launches, sales communications and thought leadership.
  • Experience with a CMS, marketing automation (e.g. Pardot) and CRM (e.g. Salesforce) a plus
  • Video editing, Photoshop  
  • Experience with technical SEO, Analytics, Implementation of Tracking tools
  • Experience in both Digital and Offline marketing
